The antique silver mint box is of the round type with a hinged lid finished with a fine floral engraving. The edge of the lid and the lower edge have a fine engraving in a rib motif.

Silver hallmarks:
lopend leeuwtje (2e gehalte zilver, 833/1000) - Minerva head - year letter D 1838 - master silversmith's mark.

Dimensions:
diameter 5.5 cm - height 2 cm and a weight of 23 g.

Condition:
in good condition with normal signs of use/aging - see photos (these are part of the description and condition).

Het antieke zilveren pepermuntdoosje is van het ronde type met een scharnierend dekseltje die afgewerkt is met een fijne florale gravering. De rand van het dekseltje en de onderrand hebben een fijne gravering in ribmotief.

Zilver keurmerken:
lopend leeuwtje (2e gehalte zilver, 833/1000) - minervahoofd - jaarletter D 1838- meesterteken zilversmid.

Maten: 
diameter 5,5 cm - hoog 2 cm en een gewicht van 23 gram.

Conditie:
