Antique Napoléon III-style pocket dish in natural mother-of-pearl (Pinctada maxima) and gilded bronze, 19th century.
Dimensions approximately 23 x 20 x 7.5 cm; the pocket dish is the mother-of-pearl shell itself, mounted on a gilded bronze base with scrolling, featuring raceme decorations that wrap around the back of the shell and terminate at the front.
Excellent condition, natural patina. Small hole at the center of the shell and a small chip on the edge.
Shipped with tracked express courier, careful packaging.
