Beautiful, very unique 5 Mosasaurus teeth on display

These remarkable teeth come from a Mosasaurus, a dinosaur that lived about 72 to 75 million years ago.

The Mosasaurus is a sea reptile that lived in and ruled the oceans; the species occurred worldwide and could reach up to 20 meters in length. Mosasauruses went extinct when a giant meteor slammed into the Earth 66 million years ago.

It was a highly active predator with excellent eyesight. The skull and jaws were sturdy in construction, capable of swallowing virtually any other animal or reptile.
