numax Electric fan - Cast iron

Numax workshops were founded in 1917 by the Germans Ernst Ohliger Willmünder, Hermann Legler, and Otto Streichhardt, with a capital of 25,000 pesetas and based in Plaza de Mañé y Flaquer. During the Spanish Civil War they were collectivized: "Colectividad Obrera Talleres NUMAX. Fabricación de ventiladores, electromotores, timbres, transformadores, cuadros indicadores, etc. Plaza Manyé i Flaquer, 1", and after the conflict they became a limited partnership, with the Sabadell-born engineer Ramon Arqué y Brujas as director.
