Table lamp - Delftware

Elegant table lamp made in glazed ceramic with the traditional Delft Blue technique. The body of the lamp features a refined ribbed vase-shaped form with an integrated lid that also serves as a base for the lamp holder. The decoration, hand-painted with great detail, depicts a majestic peacock on one side and rich floral compositions (peonies and chrysanthemums) on the other sides. The top is finished with a stylized leaf pattern. The piece is in excellent aesthetic condition. No chips or obvious cracks are noticeable on the ceramic. The patina of the brass socket testifies to the piece’s authenticity.
