Very decorative, antique letter holder made of solid brass with a beautiful gold-colored patina. This richly decorated object is executed in a classical Baroque style, characterized by symmetrical scroll ornaments (volutes) and floral motifs. The base features a striking, protruding shell shape (rocaille), which also serves as a pen holder or small desk-accessory dish.
The holder has three compartments for sorting mail or documents. An elegant and functional piece of antique that fits perfectly on a classic desk or as a decorative object in an eclectic interior.

Condition: In good, original condition with light signs of aging that contribute to its authentic character.
