Large natural ceremonial conch shell, finely hand-engraved with the sacred symbolism of the Ashtamangala (the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Buddhism).
Notable among the decorations is the Eternal Knot (Srivatsa), symbolizing harmony and eternal wisdom, surrounded by floral and mandala motifs. The shell features a beautiful natural patina and the engravings are deep and well-defined.
Era: Second half of the 20th century.
Weight: 748 g.
