Figure - Rhinoceros - Malachite

A large and heavy figure of a rhinoceros, measuring circa 26,5cm in length and weighing 3334g, of exceptional quality and colour, with intricate pattern markings. Carved from a solid block of malachite sourced from the Belgian Congo, circa first half to middle of the 20th century.

Condition: Tip of horn slightly chipped, repair at the hind leg, minor wobble, partly corrected with translucent rubber spacers.
