A large porcelain octagonal bowl in Famille Rose decor from China, dating to the 1920–1930 period (late Qing/Republic), known as Gong Wan, with a turquoise interior and pink, green, and yellow floral exterior, and in fair condition with three hairlines on the rim and small edge chips; width 21.5 cm.
Description from the seller
This is large famile rose Chinese ceramic bowl with an octagonal shape. The bowl is from late Qing or repubic period and called Gong Wan 供碗. The interior features a vibrant turquoise glaze with a slightly mottled, speckled texture. The exterior is decorated with delicate floral motifs in pink, green, and yellow, outlined with fine brushwork.
Condition: The bowl is overall in a fair condition. The bowl has three hairlines on the rim and some small chips around the edge of the rim.
