About the artist:

Originally from the Paris suburbs, Socrate is an artist from the graffiti movement. She stage-manages a highly contrasted universe using the raw, immediate nature of graffiti. She elevates the strength and fragility of images, primarily the traits of femininity through intimate and glamorous representations.

Socrate invites graffiti into the boudoir, thus blending a discipline that is essentially masculine with the elegance and sensuality of feminine aesthetics.
