In this surreal city, reality and fiction merge. Along the Street of the Abstract City, a river flows toward the observers. The river and the horizon radiate calm in contrast to the colorful high-rise facades. For me, the image and the title express my longing for calm and nature in the often hectic and stressful city life. The texture of acrylic, oil pastel, sand and marble powder creates more depth, shadows, and light play.
