Mel Ramos (1935-2018) - Bonnard´s Bath

As a homage to the French Impressionist Pierre Bonnard, Mel Ramos cites his famous work "The Bath" from 1925, but interprets it in a new way. In doing so, Bonnard's brushwork is transposed by Mel Ramos into a naturalism that is typical of him.
The original lithograph produced in 1979 ranks among the earliest graphics of the world-famous artist and is an outstanding collectible for fans of Pop Art.
The print appeared in a limited edition of 500 copies.
Each sheet was personally hand-signed by Ramos, as well as frontally numbered and dated.
