Paar bronzen Art Deco - Bookends (2) - Bronze, Marble

A pair of extraordinarily beautiful and also large antique solid bronze Art Deco bookends depicting two seated tigers.

These highly detailed, well-cast predators stand on a gorgeous Siena marble pedestal.

The items are of French origin and date from the first half of the 20th century.

The condition is good with the exception of a small, rather unobtrusive chip in the marble.

Dimensions: 15 x 12 x 8 cm and quite heavy.
