A solitary figure on a boat glides over still water, in a landscape suspended between day and night, between the real and the dream. A tree with red branches rises against the sky like a final flame of color before darkness. All is quiet. All is still. All is exact.

Style and Composition:
The scene is built with a painterly photograph of great refinement, in which cool tones of gray and green blend with the intense warmth of red and magenta in a millimeter-perfect chromatic balance.
