Description from the seller
GENERAL:
This Ferrari Testarossa is presented in good to very good preserved condition. It is a specimen that benefited from a very extensive mechanical overhaul at Pozzi in 2016 (invoice over €27,000). Since this major intervention, the vehicle has been carefully stored in a hangar and has not been driven, thus preserving the work carried out. This is a rare opportunity to acquire an 80s icon with a healthy mechanical base certified by a renowned specialist.
BODYWORK & PAINT:
The paint is in very good overall condition, with a shine worthy of the prestige of the marque. There are simply two or three minor small dings and a scratch on the rear right (visible in the latest photos of the advert). These light imperfections do not detract from the Testarossa’s superb silhouette. The vehicle has benefited from a digital retouch on the photos to illustrate its aesthetic potential without the distracting background elements.
TECHNICAL:
Mechanically, everything was dismantled and checked during the 2016 overhaul. Although the vehicle has not been driven for eight years, it starts and runs very well. The engine, however, requires a small reset/rehabilitation (oil change and routine maintenance) as a precaution before considering long journeys. The chassis is in good to very good condition, with no rust or corrosion, as evidenced by the underside photos.
INTERIOR:
The original interior is remarkably preserved: no rips or scratches to report on the trim. For a more sporting driving experience and optimal support, the car has been fitted with red Sparco bucket seats, perfectly matching the car’s livery. The entire instrumentation and controls are functional.
DOCUMENTATION:
The vehicle is sold with:
- Its original Japanese registration card.
- The import invoice from a German garage certifying that European VAT has been paid.
- The major overhaul invoice from Pozzi (€27,000).
The buyer will need to arrange the administrative steps for final registration in their country of residence based on these documents.
PICKUP:
The vehicle is currently stored in a dry and secure location. While it can be driven, transport on a trailer is advised for pickup due to prolonged immobilization since 2016, in order to perform the reintegration run in the best conditions.
OTHER INFORMATION:
This Testarossa represents an excellent opportunity to refine and make a very beautiful specimen. Its healthy structure, well-kept interior, and the history of mechanical work at Pozzi make it a choice piece. A light technical update will allow it to reclaim its full splendor on the road.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
