Description from the seller

Style and Era
Based on the shapes, most likely a piece in Late Victorian or Early Edwardian style (late 19th or early 20th century, approx. 1890–1910).

2. Design Features
• Art Nouveau influence: The pierced carvings on the sides and the top (the crest) have those organic, sinuous curves typical of the Art Nouveau movement.
• Turned Columns: The vertical supports imitate bamboo or feature turned-ring details, a common device in auxiliary furniture of the era to give a light visual feel.
• Wood: From the grain visible on the shelves (that stain-like or knot effect), it seems to be walnut veneer or walnut root, which is highly valued for its aesthetic beauty.
