Set of four Art Deco uranium glass drinking glasses from the Czech Republic, dating to 1930–1940, in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, featuring guilloché engraved bands and green fluorescence under UV light.
Description from the seller
A refined and visually striking set of four Art Deco uranium glass drinking glasses, dating from the 1930s and attributed to Bohemian craftsmanship, a region renowned for its high-quality glass production.
Each glass is decorated with an elegant and finely executed guilloché engraved band, creating a dynamic optical effect that enhances the clarity and depth of the glass. The craftsmanship reflects the geometric sophistication typical of the Art Deco period.
Under UV light, the glasses display a vivid green fluorescence, confirming the presence of uranium in the glass composition — a highly sought-after feature among collectors of early 20th-century decorative glass.
The set consists of four glasses in slightly varying shapes and proportions, adding character and authenticity. Such variation is not uncommon in decorative sets from this period and underlines their artisanal nature.
Condition:
All pieces are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Only minimal signs of age and use, consistent with their age.
Dimensions:
Height: approx. 11 cm (largest glass)
Diameter: approx. 6 cm
A rare and decorative set that combines craftsmanship, history and visual impact — especially impressive under UV light.
Will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking.
