With this square-format artwork, Medsan explores anachronism and cultural clash through the lens of an improbable boxing match. This splash features an epic, tense boxing confrontation between two iconic figures: a samurai champion and an oni (Japanese demon). The composition is explosive, capturing a moment of pure action and dramatic intensity.

The samurai, bare-chested and muscular, wears his traditional stylized war armor (kabuto and sode), but accompanies it with red boxing gloves. He is depicted in full action, delivering a powerful punch. The central element of his identity, the major visual shock, is his wide gold championship belt, bearing the explicit English inscription: "EDO CHAMPION". This suggests a historic and fictitious championship title. His face is intense, focused on his opponent.

Facing him, the blue-skinned oni, with a demon-like face, fangs, and golden horns, wears black and red boxing trunks. He is shown at the precise moment he is struck, his features distorted by the impact. This fight embodies a mashup between martial tradition and folkloric menace, transformed into contemporary sports spectacle.
