Bang & Olufsen - Beomaster 2400, type 2901 Solid state stereo receiver

This Beomaster 2400 has undergone a complete service, with everything that was not functioning properly or defective replaced. Among other things, all the illumination on the control panel was replaced and the potentiometers were refurbished and cleaned so they operate smoothly again without any crackling.
The wooden veneer panels are like new and truly undamaged. There are a few small spots on the aluminum top plate, but overall the unit still looks very neat.
However, you should realize that the device has been in use for over 45 years, and that always leaves some signs of use.
After the service, the amplifier and receiver were adjusted to factory specifications.
The amplifier features a built-in preamplifier with RIAA correction so modern MiniDisc players can be connected. Furthermore, the Beomaster 2400 is equipped with a built-in receiver for a possible compatible remote control according to the sonic system. (this is not included)
After the service, the device was tested extensively.
This Beomaster 2400 is equipped with the original B&O front risers to make manual operation a bit easier. If you do not want this, the risers can be removed quickly and easily.
The amplifier is implemented with a powerful 2x30W output.
Via the DIN connectors a turntable and a recorder can be connected; the recorder input can also accommodate newer signal sources such as a CD player or your streaming device.
For FM reception, up to 5 preset stations can be selected.

I am a retired electronics/mechanics enthusiast and I pursue the repair and restoration of hi-fi equipment from this period purely as a hobby. For me, good repair is more important than how long it takes. I have received 100% positive feedback from my buyers, and I would like to keep it that way.
