The Onkyo TX SR606 was, at its introduction, a groundbreaking mid-range receiver. It was one of the first devices to feature as many as four HDMI inputs and the ability to upscale video solutions to 1080i. It is known for its dynamic sound and support for the then-new HD audio formats.
