Altar - Senoufo - Wood - Mali - 80 cm - 6.2 kg.

Large Senoufo altar.
Very heavy and ancient object.
It depicts a vertically stylized male figure standing on a cylindrical pedestal with a bulging top.
The base shows a rectangular cavity used for performing rituals.
The wood is dense and worn.
The patina is fairly light.
Rare object in good condition.
Originates from the Misseni region.
