Description from the seller
French display cabinet from the middle of the 18th century.
Louis XV period,
Around 1750.
Old original glass in the doors.
Clear Rococo style - see the beautiful cap with that typical Rococo lattice work.
Deeply worked carving. see detail photos.
A-symmetrical in form, so-called Rocaille form.
Towards the whimsical shapes of oysters.
These cabinets were used to display porcelain.
Both the cabinet and the porcelain were then a status symbol.
Nice, lived-in color in the wood.
The lower cabinet has three drawers.
These drawers have a so-called organ-bowed profile.
The interior is made of dark oak.
The upper cabinet can be detached from the lower cabinet and the cap is again detached from the upper cabinet.
Thus the furniture is also shipped.
