This jar has an everted mouth, a narrow neck, full shoulders, a slightly tapering belly, and a ring foot. Both the interior and exterior are covered in celadon glaze, decorated with spiral patterns. The base is unglazed. With its robust, upright, and full shape, elegant and simple glaze, and rustic style, it is a typical Ming dynasty imitation of Song dynasty artifacts.
Condition:
Very good condition, with signs of use, no debris, no cracks, no signs of repair. It produces a clear, crisp sound when tapped. It has been inspected with strong UV light. (Please see the photos if the description is not clear enough.)
