A German-made 4/4 violin of unknown brand, in good physical condition and functionally tested, about 100 years old from the Vogtland region, Saxony, weighing 430 g, one instrument with no extras.
Description from the seller
Beautiful old Saxon 4/4 violin from the Vogtland region (Saxony)
The violin, about 100 years old, has some signs of use (see photos) but is otherwise in good condition. Notably, the beautifully flame-patterned backplate is made from a single piece. The violin has a warm, full sound.
The measurements are:
Total length: 60.0 cm
Mensur (scale length): 32.9 cm
Corpus: 35.9 cm
Waist: 11.4 cm
Upper bout width: 16.3 cm
Lower bout width: 20.4 cm
Violin and bows that are described as 'certified' or 'accredited' include images of their certificates and therefore carry a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, origin and age than instruments described only as 'labeled' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we provide no warranty.
