The photographs in this book were taken around the world, then archived, stored, and eventually
unpacked and intensely edited over several years. This long process of selection and revision shaped
the final form of the volume. The images reflect both the breadth of the photographer’s travels
and the depth of later reflection brought to the editing. As a result, the book feels both expansive
and carefully distilled. It also includes a foreword by Glen O’Brien.
