Mantel clock - Junghans - - Gilt brass - 1910-1920

This fine antique longcase clock was made in the early 1900s by Junghans in Germany. (crossed arrows)
The movement and the inside of the case have been recently cleaned.

The movement has no strike but does have a bell. The timing of the bell is adjustable at the back.
The duration of the bell ringing is controlled by winding the bell-spring more or less.

Three holes have been made in the base plate, covered with mesh, to prevent infestation by insects.

Both keys are accessible via the "back door".

Given the approximate age, this rare clock is in very good condition.
