Beautiful and large antique travel trunk from Cosmopolis, dating to the era of steamship travel. This wardrobe trunk model opens vertically and was used to transport clothes on hangers during long journeys. The trunk is in its original condition and is covered in leather with numerous riveted metal reinforcements, giving it an authentic and highly decorative look; the original travel labels are still present. The clasps and hardware are original. It can be used today as a decorative piece, storage, or an occasional piece of furniture in a vintage, industrial, or country-house interior.

Très belle et grande malle de voyage ancienne de marque Cosmopolis datant de l'époque des voyages en bateau (à vapeur).
Ce modèle type malle penderie s’ouvre verticalement et servait à transporter des vêtements sur cintres lors des grands voyages.
La malle est dans son état d'origine et est recouverte de cuir avec de nombreux renforts métalliques rivetés, ce qui lui donne un style authentique et très décoratif, il y a encore les étiquettes de voyage d'origine. Les fermoirs et ferrures sont d’origine.
