This sculpture is a Murano glass figurine, commonly identified as a representation of a Mexican character with a sombrero.
Characteristics and Provenance
Artist/Producer: These pieces are often attributed to glass masters such as Renato Anatra, Archimede Seguso, or produced by glassworks like Oball and Formia.
Technique: Many of these specimens use the submerged glass technique, characterized by layers of color (such as amethyst or pink visible in the image) enclosed in transparent glass.
