Description from the seller
Tubular frame chair in the style of Mart Stam – cognac-colored leather – 1970s/1980s
Tubular frame chair with armrests, made of chrome-plated steel and featuring a seat and backrest in warm cognac-colored leather. The design is in the style of Mart Stam and is characterized by the elegant cantilever construction, with the chair without rear legs offering a light, springy seating comfort.
This iconic design has its origins in the Bauhaus of the 1920s and is known for its functional form and timeless appearance. The combination of the slim steel frame and the well-worn leather gives the chair a characterful, authentic look that effortlessly fits both modern and vintage interiors.
The chair was presumably produced in the 1970s–1980s.
