The Tondo Polistil is a cinema projector for Super 8 and 8mm films produced by the Italian Polistil starting from 1969. 
Designed by Giulio Lurani Cernuschi, this object has become an icon of Space Age design thanks to its spherical shape that evokes a lunar module or a satellite. 
The upper shell opens to reveal the internal mechanism with lenses, levers, and the film compartment. 
Power: It runs on 220 volts with an internal 60W bulb. 
Controls: Essential and intuitive, located on the base of the sphere.

Ideato da Giulio Lurani Cernuschi, questo oggetto è diventato un'icona del Space Age design grazie alla sua forma sferica che ricorda un modulo lunare o un satellite.
