The Olympus LT-1 is a stylish 35mm point-and-shoot camera and was introduced as a designer camera in 1994. The LT stands for ‘leather tech’, due to its leather jacket.

The camera was available in four colors: green, burgundy red, brown and black. The stylish design of the camera was somewhat unique: the LT-1 is fully clad in synthetic leather and has the look of a small wallet or bag.

With this stylish design Olympus targeted the higher-end travel segment. A distinctive camera that should not be missing from any Olympus collector's collection.

De Olympus LT-1 is een stijlvolle 35mm point-and-shoot camera en werd geïntroduceerd als designer camera in 1994. De LT staat voor ‘leather tech’, door zijn leren jasje. 

De camera was verkrijgbaar in vier kleuren: groen, bordeauxrood, bruin en zwart. Het stijlvolle ontwerp van de camera was enigszins uniek: de LT-1 is volledig bekleed met synthetisch leer en heeft de uitstraling van een kleine portemonnee of tas.

Met dit stijlvolle ontwerp mikte Olympus op het duurdere reizigerssegment. Een bijzondere camera, die bij de Olympus verzamelaar zeker niet mag ontbreken.
