Bronze radiator cap by the artist François Victor José BAZIN, known as François BAZIN. (1897/1956)

Between 1920 and 1935, he created a large number of automobile radiator caps: Stork (1920, Hispano Suiza), Mangbetu Woman's head (Citroën's Croisière Noire), Triumph (Isotta Fraschini), Elephant head (Latil), CENTAUR (UNIC) the model presented.

The radiator cap is fixed on a two-tone marble pedestal. The bronze is signed at its base F. BAZIN.

The artist decided to present a centaur in the Art Deco style

The weight of this bronze and its marble base is 1.330 kg.

Entre 1920 et 1935, il crée un grand nombre de bouchons de radiateur d'automobiles : Cigogne (1920, Hispano Suiza), tête de Femme Mangbetu (Croisière Noire de Citroën), Triomphe (Isotta Fraschini), tête d'éléphant (Latil), CENTAURE (UNIC) le modèle présenté. 

Le bouchon de radiateur est fixé sur un pied en marbre bi-colore. Le bronze est signé à sa base F. BAZIN .
