The camera features a Copal-MXV shutter.
Shutter speeds: B, 1 - 1/500. All shutter speeds operate.
Lenses: viewing lens as well as taking lens are Yashinon lenses.
Taking lens 80mm f/1:3.5.
Viewing lens 80mm f/1:2.8.
Both lenses free from haze, fungus and separation.
The Yashica Mat 124 includes a self-timer that works.
Comes with a half parat bag to protect the camera.
