Bart Van Hoek (1940-2025) - Ondeugende Meisjes

Bart van Hoek (1940-2025) was born in Goirle on 7 November 1940. He grew up in an artistic family. Father Luc was a renowned glassmaker, painter, poet, sculptor and graphic artist. Like his father, Bart was self-taught. He sought his own path in art as a painter and sculptor. Often the woman is the subject of his art. Bart said about this: 'I am astonished myself. It’s never-ending. The woman keeps inspiring me.' He drew a lot with chalk. From the seventies his erotic drawings date from the 1970s.

Drawings were discarded by Museum Jan Cunen in Oss and bought by a private individual (see attachment)
