Description from the seller
Hello
Today an exceptional CEC BD-3200 turntable goes up for auction—a true gem from the “golden age of audio.” This device is for someone who seeks authentic, analog sound and Japanese reliability that has endured for decades.
Few people know that the Chuo Denki (CEC) company was one of the most prestigious OEM manufacturers in Japan. It was in their factories that flagship turntable models were produced for giants like Marantz, Sanyo, Scott, or Realistic. By choosing the CEC BD-3200, you are buying technology and precision for which other brands charged significantly more.
Production: approx. 1974–1976 (Made in Japan).
Drive: Belt drive – guarantees a soft, musical sound and isolation from motor vibrations.
Type: Semi-automatic (Auto-return) – the tonearm automatically returns to its rest after the record ends (safety for your stylus!).
Tonearm: Classic S-type tonearm – statically balanced, guiding the stylus precisely in the groove.
Platter: Heavy, die-cast aluminum alloy (300 mm).
Wow & Flutter: a mere 0.06% (rotational stability at the highest level).
The turntable features a so-called “floating suspension” (sub-chassis), which makes it highly resistant to external shocks. The sound is deep, warm, and very detailed – typical of the finest designs from that era.
Invest in a piece of audio history that holds its value.
P.S. The signal cable is terminated with a DIN5 connector; I can add an adapter to male RCA.
