For sale is a Vintage Kodak DC210 Plus Zoom Camera & Case - Tested & working.
It was made in 1998 part of Kodak’s early “consumer friendly” range of digital cameras which started with their Kodak DC40 in 1995. DC stands for “Digital Camera”. These early digital cameras are becoming collectors classics and are sought after for their retro picture reproduction.
It has easy to use controls and user interface with multiple language settings.
It has a max. Resolution of 1 Megapixel (1162 X 864 pixels) and has a CCD sensor.
It has a 1.8 inch colour TFT LCD screen as well as a small simple black and white information LCD giving: settings, picture quality and exposure counter. Both screens are working with no ‘bleeding’. There are a few small “hot pixels” (this is where a pixel or a few in the sensor is/ are damaged or there are dust specks on the sensor, these appear/s as a white spots or specks in the final photos taken), I have put in the listing photos a test photo with the lens covered (a black image), this test photo shows the "hot pixels" as tiny white spots against the black. These are very hard to see in the final photos taken with this camera. There are 2 photos of a path that show the max wide and max zoom that this camera provides and 1 photo using the flash with macro of the sunflowers also shown on the cameras review (setting) screen.

The camera is in Excellent condition with only some minor rubs/ light usage marks. There is No damage, cracks or chips to the plastic. Please see photos for condition details.
The zoom lens is clean & clear of active fungus, bloom, haze & scratches. In a raking light shone at the front element there are some blemishes/ dust/ particles behind the front element, but these do not affect/ show up on the photographs taken with this camera.
It has a 2X optical Zoom of 4.4mm to 8.8mm, the equivalent to 29mm to 58mm on a 35mm camera.
The lens zoom with the viewfinder mechanisms & auto-focus are all working, with closest focus distance of: 55cm at Wide: 3.3Ft/ 1 Meter (approx) and Tele: 3.9Ft/ 1.2 Meter. It has a macro focus with a range of: 20cm to 50cm.
The viewfinder is clean, clear and easy to use. It also has the capacity to 'live preview' a scene before a photo is taken (this is automatically turned on when in macro mode).
It has an automatic shutter which is working and tested in various lighting conditions and has shutter speeds of ½ a second to 1/362th.
It has an automatic aperture range of at Wide angle: f/4 to f/13.5 and at Telephoto: f/4.7 to f/16.
There is a built-in flash with a range of up to 3.0m and has settings for: Auto, Red eye reduction, fill-in and flash off.
It has a self timer of 10 seconds.
It has a fixed ISO/ ASA of 140.
The camera uses CompactFlash cards to store photos, it does not have any internal memory and needs a card fitted to work. The camera stores photos to the cards as the popular JPEG’s or in the more outdated “FlashPix” Formats.
It takes 4X AA batteries (none supplied) the battery compartment and contacts are clean and free from corrosion. It is recommended to use rechargeable AA batteries, as conventional non-rechargeable (Alkaline) batteries (although usable) are quickly drained of power in usage.
