Junghans - Chronomètre industriel - 1960-1969

Grand mechanical table chronometer Junghans, manufactured in Germany in the 1960s–70s.

Technical timing model with large dial, displaying 60 seconds and a decimal peripheral graduation over 100 divisions. Cylindrical metal case finished in gray lacquer with molded base and original upper control buttons.

This type of demonstration chronometer was intended for laboratory, teaching, or industrial timing environments, and today is a sought-after piece for its functionalist aesthetic characteristic of postwar German industrial design.

The mechanism is in working order; the movement would, however, benefit from a routine service to regain its full operating potential.

Good overall condition with signs of use consistent with age:

- spots of oxidation / superficial corrosion on the case.
