AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Wonderful and commanding Fiat ACP 70 Restomod, ex-fire department vehicle decommissioned, restored with care and modernized.
4x4 truck with manual 5-speed gearbox plus 5 short gears and differential locks.

Bodywork fully restored, repainted with anti-scratch Raptor coating in Ral 1001 Sand color.
New wooden rear platform, antiqued and treated with non-slip paint.
Chassis fully treated with anti-rust products and repainted black.
Impressive handmade roll bar bolted directly to the platform with a dedicated ladder to climb aboard.

The mechanical condition of the vehicle is excellent, having only 21k km, which for this vehicle is nothing; it has been perfectly preserved, all mechanical parts function 100%, the engine (8000cc Naturally Aspirated Diesel) shows no oil or fluid leaks, starts at the first turn, and has been tested for movements including highway driving and can handle any distance. The 4x4 transfer is selectable as are the low gears, and both are perfectly functioning and tested.
The braking system and the air compression system have been rebuilt, a complete engine service has been performed and all oils replaced; two new 100Ah batteries have been installed in series for 24V.

Internally a modernization project was carried out: all headlining and rear panels are in Alcantara, as are the adjustable and reclining sport seats.
Four-point Sparco belts have been added (the vehicle originally did not have belts).
The interior has been completely repainted with anti-scratch black paint; the steering wheel has been replaced with a sporty calyx-style one (the vehicle has power steering).
All interior accessories are functional: heating, air-powered wipers, all controls.
Controls with sporty push-buttons and a battery disconnect switch for the additional lights have been added to be operated from inside.

The vehicle is equipped with full LED headlights and additional LED bars on the roof for optimal illumination in any condition.
A very powerful horn (air horn) has also been added.

The vehicle has Italian state deregistration documentation, and is sold with all the documentation necessary for registration in any country and with a standard sales invoice.

This is a very robust 4x4 truck, long-used by the Italian army, requiring no further work and capable of tackling any terrain thanks to its outstanding off-road capabilities. It also lends itself very well to housing a living module or being transformed into an off-road tow truck.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
