Description from the seller
Wall/ceiling lamp “Cubic” by Gaetano Sciolari, 1970s
Wall or ceiling lamp model Cubic, designed by Gaetano Sciolari in the 1970s, an icon of Italian modernist design. The piece stands out for its geometric structure in chrome-plated metal, composed of an elegant modular interwoven framework that holds light sources enclosed in cubic elements.
The rigorous and sculptural design fully reflects the formal language of the era, with a perfect balance between rationalist aesthetics and sophisticated decorativeism, typical of Sciolari's production.
The original factory stamp is present, guaranteeing authenticity.
Note: the original acrylic diffusers are missing, leaving the metal framework and light sources visible, for a more essential and contemporary effect.
In fair condition, in some areas, as shown in the photos, the chrome plating is chipped and there are spots of deteriorated chrome. Sold without bulbs.
A piece with strong visual impact, ideal for modern or eclectic spaces, also perfect in contemporary interior design contexts.
