U2&i, a hardcover illustrated edition by Anton Corbijn in English, with 416 pages, published by Schirmer/Mosel in 2008, focusing on photography and music, in like new condition.
Description from the seller
For more than three decades, Anton Corbijn has photographed the world’s greatest artists in music and other fields. This has made him one of the most influential portrait photographers of our era. In Corbijn’s career, however, one constant has stood out: the band U2, with whom he has worked for 22 years. His latest publication – the seventh in the series of Corbijn books published by Schirmer/Mosel – is dedicated to Bono, The Edge, Larry and Adam, to their long-standing friendship, to their mutual inspiration and to their shared experience of rock history, which is an integral part of the history of photography. It is Anton Corbijn who “invented” U2’s public image and who continues to shape it. The long journey from their first meeting in February 1982 in New Orleans to the April 2004 photo shoot in Lisbon for U2’s latest album is documented by a multitude of private photos and so-called official ones, accompanied by the photographer’s handwritten annotations.
