Description from the seller

This object is a fascinating piece of high-quality antiques or vintage modern pieces, commonly known as a tipping decanter (or a “tipping decanter”). Here is a detailed description and an estimate of its value:

Description of the Item
1. Structure and Operation
The decanter is designed to be tilted without lifting the entire bottle, facilitating the serving of wine or spirits. The crystal bottle is set into a tilting carriage attached to a central stand.
2. Materials and Style
Glass/Crystal: The body is transparent crystal with a diamond-cut pattern, typical of Bohemian workmanship or high-end European manufacture.
Metal: The cage and the support appear to be made of silver-plated metal or a decorated pewter alloy. The decorations feature Floral and foliate motifs in the Neoclassical or Belle Époque style.
Base: A base in fine wood (probably walnut or mahogany) with ball feet, giving stability and a touch of classic elegance.
3. Fine Details
The original coordinating crystal stopper is present.
The perforated metal collarwork demonstrates artisanal craftsmanship.
