Working tool (2) - Springerle cookie board mini

Rare miniature-stamped wooden cookie boards, the so-called Springerle, from Germany or Switzerland. The figures on the large board are in miniatures, very finely and beautifully carved or stamped. Exceedingly beautiful. The smaller board is 22 cm high and 11.5 cm wide and about 2.5 cm thick. This one is less finely stamped. For comparison, some come with a pair of glasses, a pen, or a pencil sharpener so you can see how fine and small what is carved is. I see carved animals, soldiers, apothecaries, mortar and pestle, drum, chimney sweep, hunters, occupations, holy baked baby, and so on.
