Elegant pair of salt shaker and pepper shaker produced by the renowned National Silver Company (brand "National Sterling"), iconic American manufacturer active since the mid-20th century.
The pieces feature a refined balustrade design with Gadroon decorations (corded) on the base and on the shoulder, typical of the neoclassical style very popular in the 1950s.
Technical Details:
Material: Sterling Silver (finishes 925/1000).
Construction: "Weighted" Model (weighted by the inner glass to ensure maximum stability on the table).
Marks on the base: "National Sterling", "Weighted" and patent number PAT. NO. 2646954.
Period: Approx. 1950-1960.
Origin: United States (USA).
Conditions:
The item presents in excellent vintage condition. And well preserved. There are no deep dents or holes (wear over time with small dents). The screw caps open and close properly.

Elegante coppia di spargisale e spargipepe realizzati dalla rinomata National Silver Company (marchio "National Sterling"), iconico produttore americano attivo dalla metà del '900.
I pezzi presentano un raffinato design a balustra con decorazioni "Gadroon" (a cordonata) sulla base e sulla spalla, tipiche dello stile neo-classico molto in voga negli anni '50.
