Description from the seller

1967 Ford Mustang V8 289 - C Code - Convertible

This Mustang is a genuine V8 (C Code), factory equipped with the 289 V8 motor and an automatic transmission. An honest and authentic classic with a strong base.

General information:

For sale: a 1967 Ford Mustang V8 with a very interesting color scheme in a beautiful finish with the right options. This Mustang is in good condition and has been used by the previous owner for outings to enjoy to the fullest. The car has been owned by the last owner for almost 15 years and previously spent time in California (Title is still with the car and other documents from before). This is a chance to acquire a true V8 Mustang Convertible while preserving character and authenticity.

- Automatic transmission
- Power steering
- Styled Steel with white walls
- Powertop
- Center console
- German registration plate

Body & Paint:

The body is tight, straight, and largely original, with a nice, honest patina that fits the age of the car. The blue paint shows light signs of use, which adds to the authentic appearance.

Technical:

Powered by the well-known 289 V8, which runs smoothly and performs powerfully. The automatic transmission shifts as it should. This Mustang offers the pure American driving experience: comfortable cruising with the distinctive deep V8 sound. Well maintained and ready to drive. The convertible top works fine as it should.

Interior:

Neat and well-kept interior, fully in keeping with the car's original character. Seats, door panels, and interior details are in nice condition and contribute to the authentic look.

Documentation:

- German registration certificate
- EU registration papers present

Pickup / Transport:

The car is located in Appingedam and can be picked up there after purchase. Transport is possible in consultation.

Summary:

An original California-built 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible with a good body and authentic appearance. Already equipped with German/EU registration and thus ready to enter the European market. A rare and characterful V8 Mustang for the enthusiast.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
