Figural mantel clock - Spelter, Alabaster - 1850-1900

Mantel clock depicting Saint John the Baptist in gilded régule and alabaster on a doucine base, 35 cm high, 33 cm wide, 12 cm deep, about 1850–1900, with a mechanical movement and a 1-day power reserve, strikes on the demi-heure with one gong, made in France, in fairly poor condition with major cracks and damages, without the base or winding key, and requiring servicing.
