Ashtray - Wood, Chrome

Elegant designer floor ashtray, made of wood and chromed metal, a typical expression of European mid-century modern design from the second half of the 20th century.

The piece features a slender structure with a cylindrical metal shaft in polished metal and a wooden turned base and head, which confer balance and aesthetic warmth. The upper tray is metal and is equipped with an internal cigarette extinguishing system, a functional feature widely used in design smoking objects of the era.

The clean and minimalist design recalls the mid-century modern style, making it not only a functional object but also an interesting interior decor complement for vintage, industrial, or contemporary interiors.

Condition:
In generally good vintage condition, with normal signs of aging and use, in particular light oxidation traces on the inner tray and small marks on the wood and on the chromed surface (see photo).
