Details of the Object
Style and Technique: The design features red, blue, white, and gold ribbons arranged in a spiral form (Murano glass in a spiral pattern (Ribbon/Swirl design)). This technique is characteristic of glassworks in Murano, Venice, where similar "swirl" or "ribbon" patterns (band patterns) were popular.
Manufacturer: The maker is not named - a possible attribution could be "Barovier and Tosso". The label on the underside contains only information about the dealer, the "Bottega d'Arte" by "Luigi Oreffice, Piscina di Frezzeria S. Marco 1656, Venezia".

The Murano glass manufactory has a long tradition, however these specific swirl designs (band patterns) and the type of labeling were typically popular and produced from the post-World War II period into the late 1980s.
