Nickel alloy coin belonging to the late-1930s Chinese Republican series. The obverse features a realistic and sober portrait of Sun Yat-sen, with good facial modeling and firm relief, characteristic of the political iconography of the Republican period. The reverse shows a geometric design with a strong symbolic character, with the value expressed by traditional characters and a well-defined decorative border.
