Description from the seller
PERU. Lima. 1 Sol. 1934
- Value: 1 Sol.
- Year: 1934.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: FIRME Y FELIZ POR LA UNION. Reverse: REPUBLICA PERUANA · UN SOL · 1934.
- Grading: AU58 (NGC).
Silver 1 Sol coin with the seated allegory of Liberty on the obverse, depicted with a spear and shield, in a classical style with a balanced composition, good handling of the drapery folds, and correct definition of the symbolic elements. The reverse shows the national coat of arms of Peru within a vegetal crown, with the quadrants clearly identifiable and the legends clearly legible. A nearly uncirculated specimen, with firm relief and very light wear concentrated at the highest points, preserving noticeable original lustre in the fields and a uniform gray patina that enhances the whole and adds visual appeal.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to be completely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or within the EU that has a special tax agreement (for example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs/legal procedure and is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
