Columbia portable gramophone, Model No. 109A Viva-Tonal Grafonola, dating from the 1920s to 1930s, weighing 7 kg, with case and dimensions 40 cm wide by 17 cm high, tested and functioning, chrome tonearm and pickup head, original velvet-covered turntable, serial number visible on the lid, includes spare needles and the original Columbia logo on the inner lid.

Old Portable Gramophone Columbia Graphophone Company – Viva-Tonal Grafonola Model
We present for auction an authentic and highly collectible item: a stylish portable gramophone from the iconic Columbia brand, recognized for its importance in the history of sound reproduction.
Model: Viva-Tonal Grafonola (serial number visible on the lid)
Era: 1920s–1930s
Origin: Original Columbia production
Condition: In working order.
Carrying handle damaged by time (see last photograph)
Sold with several spare needles.
Highlights:
• Functional mechanical system with original crank
• Chrome-finished tone arm and stylus head well preserved
